I have been interested in woodworking for over 30 years, but got serious about furniture making after retirement in 2003. Taking a class at College of the Redwoods changed the way I thought about wood and quality workmanship, so I have aspired to home my skills and challenge myself in the workshop. I have made furniture for my home and a couple of pieces for my family. As yet I haven't tried to sell things commercially.
