I use a blended power tool/hand tool approach and really love the texture and feel of fine woods.  I have developed a reasonable set of power tools and am developing an extensive set of hand tools by rebuilding old tools and acquiring  some top notch new ones.  Good sharp tools make working with beautiful wood productive and enjoyable.
