This project has convinced me that other methods of veneering are superior to the what I attempted to do on this project. While I was successful in the veneer process, I will change my processes in the future - vacuum or torsion box.

This was one of my first serious woodworking projects. Each night stand was made from one piece of mahogany and focused on G&G elements. They are not identical, but close.

These two chests are very close in dimension, but very different in approach. One focused on the G&G design elements, the other much more Asian and stresses the figured mahogany.

Here are some photos of the chair process. Any one chair is a challenge, but building six is a process of perseverance. The really fun part is there is enough handwork that no two chairs are identical - really similar but not identical.
